S M, give one a go. There's a bit of sanding and filling to do but mostly a fun build and you can make them look as beat up as you want and that's always fun 😀

TorstenI have Ma.K since the eighties, when it was still called S.F.3.D and have the old Nittos from that time. Then in the nineties I worked on the reissue and have those too. They have nice extra parts, but the fit just needs rework. So it is nice to see what you can do with the kits.

My first dip into Ma.K so thought I'd start at the beginning with the Nitto Series 1 Armoured Fighting Suit. It's an old kit and had some issues with soft plastic being eaten too much by Tamiya Extra Thin so lots of filling and sanding. Had a bit of a disaster during final assembly where the helmet wouldn't fit at the front and I was a bit too heavy handed which caused the front of the helmet and the screen to shatter into a "million pieces" so the A.F.S. Mk I (Nitto series 3) 'donated' some of it's helmet to finish this one. Really happy how the custom base turned out.
