I must say; I build my models with all restrictions.
In my country is lack of buying facility results in boycott. The boycott is unfair because that causes hurt to all people not to government. (Specially artists)
About the Building materials and materials effects on my model. Especially here is very difficult for us modellers here. For example we can not find the material and many of the kits and tools ...in my country, Because of U.S. boycott. I added a weathering on paint scheme with materials handmade by myself. This materials in not very good and I don`t like, but we forced.
(Of course, These problems have all modelers and artist my country). sarry

Thx Philip, Thx Holger 🙂
So in fact The Boycott makes creative us. Do you believe in?
6 December 2013, 08:46

I don't need a boycott - my wife puts restrictions on what I can buy, forcing me to be creative! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Beautiful! I'd love to build her one day in 1:72, got the decals, but there's no available kits for the correct version - J. Yours is a bit of "what-if" but very nicely executed!

I am aware of these kits but I haven't seen J version announced yet... I guess I could buy Italeri's T version and try to kitbash the two, to get a J

Superb detailing! I was a Cobra IP in Isfahan in 1978-1979 and am starting an AH-1J to be done in Iranian paint. Your work is an inspiration. Where did you get the decals.

I don't use this word very often...but your Cobra is AWESOME ! I escpecially admire the ingenious bits and pieces you repurposed to add to the details like the mother board and Q-tip sticks. very inspiring.
20 March 2014, 14:25

very nice model... it shows that with a little ingenuity a superb model doesn't need a lot of aftermarket, only some good thinking...
