Much respect for so much work, especially for finishing the diorama base with so much detail inside the barn.
I see many on this website start with amazing details, only to abandon their projects mid-way. Sometimes I wonder whether that's how they treat their lives too, haha

Hi r k your words honor me, but there's still a long way to go🙂
2 September 2021, 05:33
Robin (WhiteGlint)
That's harsh, R K. 😄

Will you place your diorama in front of a mirror or somewhere where you can marvel at it from all sides?

I think it is a nice idea to have the details in the barn and behind the fence "hidden". This way the dio doesn't get too busy or "loaded" but it is still visible from the other side. I wonder what else you got in store for us.

Perhaps i'm using a turntable so you get the best view from all sides
The plan is to set an m5 stuart in scene, but it isn't built jet because there is a very long delivery time of the aftermarket parts 🤬thank you covid🤬

So glad this has popped up again, as it deserves to be seen and enjoyed, and all your work appreciated. Superb. The ducks looking worryingly at that axe..... Every corner has a surprise and a delight to the eye 🙂

Simon that is incredible work. The interior of the building is so beautifully observed, even without a vehicle outside it would be a great model in its own right. Great inspiration, would love to see it in the flesh.

WOW! The interior of the workshop is fabulous.
I like the addition of the cat and geese.

Guys, thank you so much for your praise!
But this project is still on hold, because one '72 project follows the next;)

For normal my painting work pause over the summer, then i might have the time to complete the vehicle and the figures.

Too much time, work and money has already gone into this project so I can't give it up.
Well, there will be more to come, a little later...🙂

9 April 2022, 09:48
Michael Kohl
Simon, do not worry. Even if you give up the project it is a great achievement already the way it is.

10 April 2022, 17:25

Thanks guys!
@Michael: If you say it's good so far, than it needs to get better in future;)
It's not allowed to quit this project- It has to be done, come what may😄
@Ben: you are very welcome to work in it, then i have one less figure to paint🤣
