Cockpit area and wings together Fuselage internal painted. Aotake translucent blue, black, IJN medium grey and RLM02 used (all Vallejo Model Air) 🙂

Fuselage together. Added fuselage to winged area.
This was much harder than I thought it would be. There could be warping in either the wings or fuselage parts but neither were noticeable. In the end I had to superglue (this is the only way that I could get the 2 parts to hold together, when trying Tamiya glue, the fuselage and wings both pulled apart despite using clip holders to hold them in place) the fuselage and wings together and also had to add quite a bit of filler as shown in the photos. 🙂

Lt Cdr Shigekazu Shimazaki is best known as the leader of the second wave of the air attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. He was piloting a Nakajima B5N2 "Kate" from the carrier Zuikaku and led the attack group of 54 high-level bombers and 78 dive bombers. Shimazaki was killed in action in January 1945, near Taiwan, as a staff officer of the IJN 3rd Air Fleet by then a Commander (Wing Commander/Lt Col equivalent).
