Erik LeijdensSince my Tempest is nearing completion it's time to start a new project. I'm very into fellow Dutchmen who were active in the RAF/RNZAF squadrons in ww2 at the moment so this is a perfect subject. Chris Vlotman was the only(?) Dutchman in 488 RNZAF Mosquito nightfighter squadron. He scored 4 confirmed victories; 1 Do-217, 2 Ju-88s and 1 Fw190. Survived the war and was later a KLM captain.

Ed BatresNice cat, the weathering looks authentic, but you should have used the Tamiya kit... :} Seriously though, the Mossy is going to be a great build.

Erik LeijdensThanks mates! A rare fit issue on a Tamiya kit, the gun ports piece does not fit well. Well, it turns out it's a model kit after all 🙂

Primed the Mossie black with Mr.Surfacer 1500 thinned 1:1 with Mr.Color Thinner 110.

Erik LeijdensDecalling done now. Sprayed 2 coats of gloss clear over it, time for some washes etc.
