I'm interested in the 'salting' technique in photo 44? I'm learning new things all the time and haven't seen this before. How does it work? What is the purpose? Thanks. Great kit btw 🙂

Rui, in a nutshell, you paint in one color, let dry, sprinkle some water and drop thick salt. Wait for it to dry, so salt will stick and not fly away when you airbrush some more paint. wait for it to dry, and then remove the salt. Then you will have some interesting pattern. But yes, do check the technique in YouTube😉

Thanks for description. I just checked out some video and may try the technique on my next build. Funny thing is I never thought of using YouTube for tutorials and such. I'm not a big fan of big tech. Thanks again.

Just one little thing remaisn to add: make sure to do a test run!
I had some sort of "etching effect around the salt in my last build (lacquer over lacquer clear coat)😉
