For what it's worth. A few days ago I messed up my knee, which makes it hard to get around. So I figured that if I started a new kit I could sit and not move very much so I opened the MPC 1/25 Knight rider kit. First thing I notice is that about half the parts were wrapped in flashing and a few of the parts I didn't see at 1st. Then I noticed that out of the 4 wheels/rims one was missing and another one looked like it was melted. As I pushed on I found other pieces that were melted into the flashing, the rear spoiler warped and just very poor quality, not to mention lacking in detail. Needless say I'm not impressed with MPC= Melted Pieces of Crap. Buyers beware! Stay safe everyone.

That's a pisser Tim, I hate poor quality in anything, there's just no excuse for it.......
Doubly annoying as obv you were relying on it for your convalescence 😠

Are you going to complain to them and get replacements ?

Thank you Martin, the worse part is is that both knees have already had an orthoscopic surgery on them years ago. Thanks ade! Nigel I've had great service from Revell in the past but also poor service from Round 2 to where they did nothing so i'm not even going to waste my time, but I did order the Japanese kit in 1/24 while hoping for the front light kit to be restocked! Meanwhile I'll paint the Michael figure.

Rotten luck Tim, hopefully the new kit comes soon. I hope your knee gets better soon. I screwed up my left one when I was young (and stupid) and get a daily reminder 😄 😄

Haha we're just a load of broken old men!
It makes me laugh when I go to the osteopath or the sports injury therapist.........
"Do you know when that back pain started?"
"How long have you had that shoulder pain?"
"You're a bit young to have sciatic pain, when did that start?"
Bike........ bike........ track day...... bike 😄

Knight did wreck KITT in one episode, so there is an alternative to the MPC kits future, and we all know your perplexity for making wrecked TV cars ! LOL !!!!!

Perhaps we should have a new forum and call it ache mates then can trade all our injuries/painful parts- so for me it's neck, back and left knee cap.

Hopefully not in a hospital!! I hate it when they ask my about my surgeries, the list always takes more space than what they provide on the paper! Ever notice how much more you've learned about the human body than what you knew when you were younger? I should have a MD in my name by now! Now back to models...Since I will be doing the Fall Guy truck and figure I'm thinking of how I might use this crap kit in a dio with it.

The Fall Guy Being a Stuntman by day, How about a movie stunt scene? You have the makings of an interesting diorama

Nigel that's what I'm thinking. Just have to figure out how to work the standing figure of him into it as well as how to do the stunt scene. Go figure!, the only maker a truck close enough to clone is MPC! And I still have to buy a couple of things to do it, for one the bed is too short!LOL
