@Choppa in 1/48 there is at least the DH-2 from Eduard, which is one of the models on my desk right now. But still a looong way to go! Today I'm doing the 4-blade wooden propeller.

I had seen the DH-2 and is a lovely model but I wish there was more choice in 1/48, like the Dr.I. 😄

bughunterYes the strip down models are the only ones in 1:72. Eduard produced six, but the Camel (that is a beast!) and the Fieseler Storch are not yet finished/done. The other ones are from Aerobase Japan. As far as possible I soldered the parts for robustness. Only to assemble the painted sub modules I used CA.
The strip down put my attention to the WWI aircrafts, so after the Fokker Dr.I I moved to that biplane business in 1:48😉

bughunterThis Fokker is not going to catch a chill in the closed glass cabinet. But I always think of the pilots who sat in the open cockpits of this old struts in the airflow of the propeller even in winter. I can't imagine how you can endure that!
