I must ask what is the magnet thing you speak of? I just did the Tamiya 1/48 of that, then they came out with that kit! I am jealous!! It should be an awesome kit, it is a beautiful bird. I used a prop blur on mine and it added to it, just saying. Happy building! 🙂

Then - dear Holger - do Yourself a favour and do NOT look at Tamiyas 1/32 Corsair. I did - now I have 2 of them. 😄

Hey Timothy,

The cowling hatches dont need to be glued. They can be attached by the magnets and you can have a look at the wonderful Merlin Packard engine!
And hey Guys, i am not Krösus! 😄 Someone will surely kill me when i get myself a second kit! 🙂

After peeking in the box... Yes, it is contagious! I still struggle with me... Should i build it now? But i´m not in the right mood for a P-51... Has anyone seen "Red Tails" the story of the Tuskagee airmen?
