Thank you and it is a nice plane Ricardo. In all honesty when I saw the kit itself I was a bit uncertain but I've really enjoyed building it, the great paint scheme option, the challenges it entails and the beauty of the plane. It's very elegant and not too big for a 1/72 seaplane.

Thank you Steve and Choppa.
Almost finished. Just the last of the decals and the longer rigging to put on. Enjoyed this kit, thanks Steve, I learnt a lot about what I can and can't do and when I can or can't do it. Good learning curve. Also the first time I've dealt with such vague kit plans which demands a different approach.
Now I'm looking at float planes of the 20's and 30's. What beautiful creatures.

Thank you Christian. The decals are on and extra rigging done so just a finishing coat needed.

Thank you Christian. This kit has opened up the world of float planes, Italian float planes and the glorious craft of the Schneider Trophy.

Excellent job Ben, that plane looks fantastic ! I´m very much interested in the planes of the Schneider era too, sadly there are very little kits available in 1/72nd. I´ve found about three of them , some pretty old . Too exotic maybe.....

Thank you for your kind words gentlemen.
Hanno, I totally agree regarding the lack of kits on the subject. Aerotech do quite a few but they're 1/32 and that's probably getting too big for me. Noix do 1/48's but so far they're hard to come by. I don't mind getting to know a plane via a crap kit and spending more money on a better kit later on a plane that really takes my interest. The Macchi Castoldi MC. 72 is just that, proven and pure thoroughbred.
