Despite the price, this is an easy kit by the looks of it.
Just what the doctor ordered, no fuss 🙂

The resin seat won't fit the cockpit, so this is moving to the sparesbox. To be honest, it would be out of place anyway in the simplified cockpit...

The seat is back in, cut down quite a bit, but it is a better option than the original in the kit

Loads of gaps to fill

Wow. The Grand Canyon is narrower than those gaps ! Break out the plastic card ..

Yes David, if I had known this before I bought it I'd have gotten an other kit. Although it is a modern tooling, fit is so so, and there are no stores whatsoever to fit under the wings.

Thanks Skywalker 🙂

Here in Indiana our Air National Guard flies A-10s so they will frequently fly overhead, usually quite low. They make a wonderful noise too. They're phasing them back out now and we'll be back to F-16s. Sad I won't see the A-10 flying over my backyard anymore.

I used to live in Germany in the early 80ies, and I remember these flying low there as well, it is the reason why I am building this one.they are impressive machines

Awesome. I have the 1:48 version of this kit because of those flyovers. Look forward to seeing where you take this one.

Gear attached, I found out that this is a tailsitter, even with all the lead I've crammed into the nose😔

I'm done with this one, I've just put it in the display cabinet, and will make some pictures later, when I get good natural light.

You've inspired me to get one HobbyBoss's Thunderbolt too, Jan 😉
18 December 2022, 15:46
Jan Peters
Than this is good for something Robert 😄
Just remember to cram as much as possible lead into the nose, or you will end up with a tailsitter too!

Robert Podkoński
I've purchased the N/AW version, so there is less space inside the nose...
18 December 2022, 18:19
Jan Peters
Try and get as much as possible into the space available, maybe behind the cockpit as well?

Sometimes it's best to make some no fuss models and enjoy the accomplishment! Well done
