This is the base for the subsequent chipping.
Mr hobby laceur paint choco brown+ vallejo rust wash as filter.
I hope that the pre-shading can still be seen after the following steps.
the result, whether it works, I'll see tomorrow😉

Hi Simon! Do you know that "Kubuś" is preserved and on permanent display in the centre of Warsaw:
Polish Military Museum in Warsaw | Album by podkon (photo #51)
I suppose I have more photos I could send you, if you wish 🙂 And I am watching, of course! 😉

Hi robert!
I came across it during my research and found out a bit about its history.
I have also found pictures of them online, but only very few original pictures.
i compared all the pictures i found and came across many differences in the painting.
Therefore i would stick to the manufacturer's specifications.
If you have a link or something similar for me, I would be very happy😀

You're right, Simon - "Kubuś" was not restored accurately, alas... And if you plan a trip I suggest Cracow first, then Warsaw and then Deblin 😉

Great work, Simon. 👍
And a nice way to display this armored car.

😁😁
I decided to keep the base simple.
This makes the shape of the vehicle come into its own.
I started with a street, house fronts and barricades, but the car went "lost" in this scene, so i take the much easier way.
I think I made the right decision.

Seeing this work on newsfeed with the picture number one on top my first thought was:" Hey, Simon does some bigscale too, and oh so fine. Then came the look into the upper left corner for the scale and my eyes immediately popped out of their sockets. Honour where honour belongs: "This is a masterpiece!" Congrats on this one. Ways beyond well done!!! 👍
