Wolfpack 1/48 Mig-29 is one of the worst kits (if not the worst) I've ever seen. Unfortunately I bought one and spent a lot of time to make it work. But there's no 2 pieces you can glue together without problem. No matter how hard you try or how you are skilled and experienced in scale-model building, you won't be able to put this kit together.
Wolfpack has included some resin parts (Cockpit) in this kit box to make it sweet but the kit itself has not been designed to have those resin parts - so - if you use them you need to make a lot of changes to put fuselage together but - like I said - at the end the results will be absolutely terrible.

The decals for Iran version are wrong. The nose is wrong. the exhaust scale is wrong. I wish I could get my money back.

NEVER BUY THIS KIT!!

I don't get the point why someone is still releasing this very old, very inacurate and very bad build Academy kit. These injection forms should be destroyed. Please don't release that! You will save lot of disappointed modellers.

Hmm did not knew it was bad.. I had just added it to my wishlist.. The full resin cockpit sounded good

The biggest issues are with the nose, which can be easily replaced by quickboost one and with the air intakes (they should be cca 1,5-2 mm wider), which cannot be replaced. Also jet exhaust diameter is smaller. There are also some other shape issues (don't remember everything).... Original academy interior is completely out (new resin could be fine), also jet exhaust should be replaced and weapon load - those rockets and pylons are very inacurate. I have 2 academy kits (9-12 and 9-51) and I spent lot of money for these detail sets and it will never look so good as GWH (I bought it before GWH release). Also building this kit is quite difficult. I am talking about original Academy kit. If you want really nice 29, buy GWH. I know it is expensive, but it is much much much better than Academy. It has no shape issues and it is much friendly to build. Maybe look if someone is selling it from 2nd hand. The only issue is with 9-51 (Mig-29UB) because there is only Academy release 🙁.
