Burkhard D Nostalgia for me. I was there when the Flanker was brought to Paris LeBourget for the first time in 1989. So for me it will be 'Bort 388'

Sebastijan Videc If you want to build Blue 388, this is not the right kit, unfortunately. 388 had later type of tail stinger.

Burkhard D Thanks for the hint. May be I can salvage the right tail stinger from one of the other Flanker kits in my stash

Sebastijan Videc I'd rather wait a couple more months and wait for the Trumpeter to release "late type" Flanker kit, if you're not in hurry. You can never have enough Flankers, and you can build this one as the one that crashed with Norwegian P-3C in the '80s

Burkhard D True, never enough Flankers. I'll not run out of kits while waiting for the 'Late Type' either
In the meantime, I'll dig up the LeBourget slides of 388 and scan a few more
