H K I assume Modellbau König got you :D
25. March 2015 at 19:08:52
Fabian D. Right... but not the only Tristar kit I bought. Still not shure if I should just canibalize the interior, the reviews I´ve read pointed thoards a medicore accuracy...
25. March 2015 at 20:08:03
Rui S Is anyone go to see it easily, Fabian?
25. March 2015 at 20:27:47
Fabian D. Well, for Tristar standards it´s a rather crappy kit. The roadwheels are said to be wrong, have "real" rubber rims, and it´s neither a proper Early nor a proper Mid version (not only because of the missing Zimmerit). As I have a Dragon Brummbär, tranplanting the interior would be probably the easiest way to get the best out of the two kits. But I haven´t really decided what to do...
25. March 2015 at 20:42:47
Rui S Huumm, I see what you mean...
25. March 2015 at 20:45:44
Fabian D. Well, I guess some more research (and checking what´s differnt compared to the early kit) will put me closer to a decision. We`ll see ;)
25. March 2015 at 21:14:41
Rui S I can't help you, don't have them, but I look forward for the project... :)
25. March 2015 at 21:51:03
H K Forget this early, mid blabla. This is a series 2 Brummbär which only needs zimmerit. The quality of the kit, well that`s another story...
25. March 2015 at 22:55:05
Rui S I'll only buy now, the one with the mg in the upper left side of the hull ... :)
25. March 2015 at 23:05:30
H K That one is on my wishlist for a new kit either from Tamiya or a Smart Kit :)
25. March 2015 at 23:09:09
Fabian D. Just compared the two kits, apart from the roof, side armour and roadwheels the mid kit seems to include almost everything to build the early kit. Not shure about the gun, though. Not impossible, but there are better ways to spend time.
As I already have the early Brummbär with Zimmerit, I´m leaning more and more to the transplanting option... Well, still cheaper than the Griffon Interior set ;)

A new tooled late Brummbär would be nice, I´m staying away from the Dragon Imperial/ Dragon Shanghai series...
