Eric RENOUX I don't now what's happening with Tamiya, but month after month, they are loosing their leadership on plastic model. I'm scared.

Urban Gardini Not one for me as I'm gonna get Takom's nice AMX instead. Possibly I can see it worth it to get this one if I can get it cheap and kitbash the turret onto an M4 hull in order to make an Egyptian Sherman with the AMX turret but not now.

Jörg Luther I think they are rather adressing the beginners und just-for-fun-builders than the rivet counter fraction. I still love Tamiya for being the most reliable company for decades. I've never been really disappointed with a Tamiya kit - you know what you get. Even if it's not always top notch, it's always a fine base.

Felix Schulze Tamiya is surely not loosing their leadership. There are just different manufacturers for different stuff. Remember that 1/35 scale is only "one" thing of a whole lot of models. So Tamiya is doing their 35 scale stuff like they do. Nothing negativ to say about the latest Panther D, the Somua, Su-76M or their new Sherman. Sure they are not like Dragon or Takom kits, but Tamiya is always easy and nice to build and you get a damn good model out of it - always!
