If you bring chocolate, the good stuff, you can come round and help me put it together
I really ought to finish what is on the bench first which is currently the Spitfire 1:48 airfix, my third Neglected Kit to be Resurrected
Which I am doing for my brother, his kit but I am doing it for him for his birthday etc.
Also on the bench and begining to look neglected are a couple of 1:48 Nam' tanks for RC and a 1:35 Bell 47 for RC conversion. I have a Revell 1:72 B17 with a Legend resin crew set (all in for £11 !
) arriving soon which I will probably do first as a prelude to the big boy
I am also distracted by thought of a few other TNKR projects that need finishing off, 3 robots and a 1:700 Nimitz carrier, but I also have an Airfix 1:72 Catalina which is very basic kit with almost nothing in the way of internal details and the worst figures I have ever seen but I do fancy doing a super rapid build on it to practice exterior weathering on, chipping and exhaust plumes etc. I may add a few basic bulkheads and just draw the detail on real quick to give the internals a hint of something going etc.
But the FW190 Eduard Profi is also a distraction too... which I thought would be good practice for my Profi Bf109 as the 190 was only £13 but I think I need to practice on some other kits first.....
and that was a long winded answer indeed, sorry
Anyhow, what I will do is take some photos of the kit so you can have a look at what you get, a micro review so to speak, I do think that another £15 on masks and PE would be worth it, though there is lots available for this model, all the flaps, bomb bays, placards engineering & nav bay resin wheels, engines, guns etc. etc. would be very easy to spend £100 plus on this
