I can't wait any longer for anyone making a more correct Hind in 1:48 scale so I am going with this kit I found on accident on eBay.
Apparently based on the old Monogram kit.

And this Version of the mold /kit shall be the best available in 1:48?

I don't know. I wouldn't think so.
Having said that, I glued two half parts together just now and the seams line up nicely, so that is a good sign.
The rocket pods doesn't look right. With rockets sticking out of the opening, I think that kind of display of armament is only seen on airshows, though I am no expert.
Most panel lines and detailing aren't crisp.
Clear parts sort of look ok. One good thing is that the window wipers are not molded into the window and are separate parts.

Its a good start for a hind, stands a little too tall at the arse end and needs a slight lean on the rotor.
have a look at the one I built, will give you an idea what can be done with it.

Will do. I am currently trying to make the exhaust openings beautiful. I think I can do it. With a little luck I think I can make the openings circular even.

@Augie Do you think that making a change to the landing gear might help on the in your opinion high sitting tail?

Thats what I did, Shortened a few MM and adjusted where they mount

though I' mainly 72nd scale modeller, I still think it's a shame, there are no modern tool Hinds in 48 scale

Yeah, Augie, all good things are (at least) three!
