Well,there are more differences between an"F" ad a "G" than gun breech covers and the oil filter. I think Erich's machine differed from Gerhard's by more than the personal "Tulip" also -but you did get a 3 piece canopy as well. Jo-Han here claims to have invented the idea of putting numbers on tabs next to the parts; these being the same as those on the assembly drawings. If so, they were real pioneers.

the kits in this range from 1963 toolings had numbers on tabs in the decade before the Jo-Han kits
