Some more details on the Italeri 1/72 T-55A: this kit will only allow one to build a Soviet T-55A.
This means 2 of the 4 options are out: DDR NVA never had Soviet T-55A's and Poland used tanks of domestic production.
So this leaves only USSR and Romanian tanks.
The tracks however are OMSh, which also limits options: no Romanian tank either. Italeri should have included a JNA option, that would just suit fine.
The road wheels are all identical, the real tank has a reinforced Station 1 wheel with a notably larger sprocket.
All in all it looks like a sound basis for a good model, but the options are limited. RMSh tracks can be found as AM parts. Or one might consider kit bashing parts from Revell's T-55A.
