Treehugger I never cared much for armored trains, as I thought they hide a lot of detailing, but I think I might want one for my other German railway cannon kit in 1:72. Together with the WR360 diesel locomotive (which was said to be harder to detect, not having a smoke stack).

Treehugger Q: Can you please check the outer diameter of the wheels in this kit for me? I would appreciate that.

Wilfried Bogaerts Hi Treehugger, hope my translations are correct/understandable ... The outer diameter (diameter at flange) is 13.35mm and the diameter at hub is 12.35mm Hope this helps ...

Treehugger Thanks! Heh, I have been wondering if Hobby Boss uses the same diameter for their 1:72 kits, but I wouldn't think so (I guess to be fair, it is possible that there were different diameters on different stuff). I can mention that Hobby Boss' Dora kit has overly large diameter (also wildly wrong diameter). Another kit in 1:72, a Model Collect heavy carriage kit, have the diameter at around 13.75 mm for the outer diameter.
