Paweł M.It's 2026 now - Scalemates lists no aftermarket for this baby... It's not a kit that would get mass-built by people. Looks like it's more bought but not really built. I see some problems with it (I already have it started) - setup: inflated skirts and no one inside? How can it be? One obvious aftermarket set here would be crew. But then where to put them? The second, bigger problem is the interior. There are actually no references here, maybe with an exception of two or three blurry youtube videos. It's almost sure that the kit provided interior is mostly science fiction. So it would be cool to get an interior update (that would make the second most obvious aftermarket set) - but I guess nobody knows what the real interior would have to look like...

panzer948Just started this and probably the first time I started a kit so new that I beat development of aftermarket accessories. I guess one of the cons of being an early adapter. I am hoping someone comes out with a paint mask for all the glass so will monitor this site for accessories.

Hi Panzer, I found masking the windows relatively easy…small round masking dot help for the corners! I did a mainly modular build but watch out for some major fit issues if you're not careful! Just started making a mangrove base for it!

Hi, thanks for the advice. I am going to order some of those small round masking dots. TBH, I didn't know a product like that existed and can see that being helpful for many other builds. Also thanks for the fit warnings. I am currently painting the interior before putting it all together and have already experienced some higher percentage of difficulty than normally encountered. It seems many parts are angle connections and you have to make sure the angle is right or it may not line up properly down the road. I have already shifted to using more slow setting glue for that very reason. Really enjoying the subject though so I think I will overcome. Sounds like you will be creating a dio as well! Be sure and post pics and come back here to share where we can see!

Johnny BWow! A PACV in good old styrene plastic!!! Now this is the most exciting kit release I've heard bout in time! Hopefully, if this kit sells well, we will see th more heavily-armed Army ACV hovercraft thereafter!! And Brownwater Navy subjects as well! This is fantastic news!!!
