Michal Jasinski I got this kit today new luckly on discount. It seems that they done same thing as with Tiger I. You get new box, which looks same as old one with same number, but with less stuff inside. There is no any photo etched parts and one sprue has been removed (J), but at least they left magic tracks :/
It's just a matter of time until they do another production run. Obviously they will replace the magic tracks with DS tracks, probably delete some other goodies as well and bump it up to the €60,00 price range though
In the meantime, if you don't want to wait and want to build the F2, you can simply buy the Dragon PzKpfw.IV Ausf. F(1), which is essentially the same kit. The only difference (as far as I have been able to determine so far) is that the parts for the F2 gun are missing (gun barrel and gun housing). But you can easily get an aftermarket set for that. For instance, from ArmorScale.
You should be able to get the Dragon F(1) kit for a low price, not the ridiculously high prices which I see in the marketplace on the page for the F(1) kit! I have three of them and I bought them new for a little over €30,00 a few months ago.
John Van Kooten That won't be a problem because they only removed parts of sprue B, which contains some of the gun mantlet parts (amongst some other small pieces of the gun's receiver/breech parts that you won't need). But other than that, the sprues are identical and the long barrel cleaning rod is still available
Wayne Hale I had one located and it became too expensive even for me.
