Greco Otero I Know 1/32 are amazing I just wish I had more room for them I will eventually build one or two but I am afraid I'll get hooked on that scale, to be honest my favorite scale is 1/48 but had to give it up due to space and price. my son gave me a Mig-29 that is craving for some extra upgrades and it will probably end up in the 150+ dollar range ones I am done with it well worth the price for a very nicely detailed model but with that money I could build several in gentlemens scale OOB ofcourse.

Barry Lloyd I think 1/48 scale is a good balance, large enough for good detail but small enough to fit in the cabinet - unless it's a B-1 bomber of course!

Greco Otero I totaly agree with you barry as a kid I used to build whatever models
Where available at woolworth Mexico mostly 1/72 scale aircraft I started
Building 1/48 when i came to the states in the 80's but gave up the hobby
For a few years and now I got the 1/72 fever even though my eyes are demanding bigger scales
I refuse to accept the fact that I am not a youngster anymore

Barry Lloyd I know what you mean, my eyesight is not as good as it once was. My hearing is good though but I get selective deafness when my wife wants me to do a chore! I used to buy bagged Airfix kits in Woolworths in the early 70's, with glue straight from tube and fingers stuck to the fuselage!

Greco Otero Yeah i remember that infamous tube cement and all the things it does
Ad to models like finger print texture on fuselages and beutifully fogged
Clear canopies and lets not forget the spider web like strings all over the plastic
Damn! I think I was even hooked on that stuff cause i build more models than ever
Back in the day
