I can attest to that! I had that set, threw it away and replaced it with the Def Model set ( Hetzer late version PE detail up set (Def.Model DE35004, 1:35) )

DE35004

I can also say that, as a general rule, Aber instructions do indeed totally suck... they are very unclear on what you need to remove / add (as in filing / sanding) and where & how to place items. They're always telling you to drill things but don't tell you what size drill bit you need. And the same is true for when you need to add STB (stretched sprue) or MOV (movable joints). They don't indicate what diameter the plastic rod should be... you have to find out on your own.

Plus the instructions are fully black & white, which doesn't improve things.

Compare that to Eduard instructions and Eduard wins hands down! On every single level!

These days I avoid Aber like the plague, if I can. Sorry Aber... but you really need to take a closer look at what your competitors are doing!

All of the above is my personal opinion, of course 😉

Thank heavans someome else aggrees I got this aber set, the great eduard set a metal barrel and a verlinden engin set with a dragon hetzer for 50 usd shipped. But I am saving my other three iteams for a good hetzer from academy or a brand ew release of one from dragon. But the fenders are resesed instead of raised but you have to make the indents on the flat side becuase the side with the ressesed ones are backwards. I wish aber didnt make the indents so deap because whrn you try to put a pen in there to make them right like they should have told you to do in the firsf place, it bends and ruins the fenders. I ruined one of the back fenders becuaes of this but was able to save theother three tha k god. Just glad its over with lol
sadly I have a huge aber set in the stash
