Just been to the 40th anniversary of Jeff Wayne's War of the worlds. Despite its indefatigable popularity there's still little in the way of triod merch. I'm desperate for one of these! Ever since I made them from knex at the age of ten I've loved this design!

I too have been to see the Jeff Wayne's war of the worlds back in 2008 at the AECC Aberdeen. It was a terrific show and the hologram of Richard burton was really well made. I too would like this this model. More probobaly to build it and pass it to my dad as he loves the album. Would be awesome with a thunder child diorama.
