I must be dense some times. I was looking through the kit a bit more carefully and found some added parts and features that will lend them selves to be a second kit. Maybe from the way things look it could be an FAA or coastal command plane with a BP turret.
If so then Revell please hurry so I can add it to my collection.

Hi Bill, Academys PV-1 is an older but still nice kit in scale 1/72. But holy moly, this new quarter scale Ventura is a really really nice kit. Still a long time since I've build my last aeroplane, but with this kit it is time to go back to plane modeling

It is a great kit (!!!) but it benefits of some AM stuff. I have the Vector prop and Dmold correction in my stash and the Vector cowlings and Ultracast wheels on order. Still waiting for some goodies for the cockpit before I'll start it
