Album info

The Hobby Boss kit (originally from Tristar) of the Pz.1 Ausf. A in 1/35, this time with a commander from MiniArt's wonderful Panzer Crew (France) set - although the figure will be finished later on.

Painting was done with AK and Vallejo acrylics, weathering with oil washes and the dirt was made with a mixture of Isopropyl alcohol and ground up pastel chalks.

The HobbyBoss/Tristar kit basically builds itself, only the tracks are a bit of a pain in the ass because they - unlike the 38(t) tracks - don't "click" together and had to be fixed with masking tape, then wrapped around the wheels, put into position and then sparingly glued with Tamiya Extra Thin, leaving them to dry before I took them off again in two parts to paint them seperately.
