Johan PerremansThe CAD and renderings of the kit show a late MF as built in the Gorkyi factory - it has features that differ notably from the vast majority of the MF that were built in Moscow. I hope RFM takes that into account re the finish and decal options.

Hi Johan, could you elaborate a bit more on those differences. I'm not in any way an expert on MiG-21s but in general I like to have my markings correct for the type of aircraft I'm building. Having said I'm not into MiG-21s that much, I would love to have a go at this kit as I really like building RFM kits.

Hi Patrick, the Late MF was built on the BIS production line and has a number of quite distinctive features on the hull and wings. You can find a complete explanation of the differences - including detail drawings - on Eduard's website.

Well, I can't say anything about the kit. Perhaps the model will be good. I liked the T-55AMD, and I plan to get this set as well. However, it's a must to make fun of the controversial box art)))
