In 1945-1946, the French Air Force has an urgent need of planes like fighters and bombers. Of course "Armée
de l'Air" used British and American planes but it was also decided to reuse and build German aircfrats.
The NC.900, this one is an A8 version, is the French made version of the FW.190.
It was not really popular with the French pilots, some of them fought the FW 190 in the RAF or on the eastern front like pilots of the Normandie-Niemen squadron.
The plane I made, was used as an advanced training fighter located in Cazaux, South West of France in 1946.
