I added some pictures for ya! Project is on hold for now because the decals were atrocious. So I want to take some time and think about how I may want to proceed.

Wow dude! Holy crap! Your work is awesome! I know all about the decals! It's the one thing holding up my build too, they are like strips of vinyl, or something, aren't they? and no decal solvent works.. I have been working on this problem for more then 2 years, and have failed many's times and have since been learning how to make my own decals, and with the help of my mates, through lots of trial and error.. I may have a custom made decal set for Anakin's Podracer. I have yet to print these out, but I can assure you, they look spot-on perfect. When I figure it out, I will make this resource available.

Thank you! I couldn't get the decals to conform to the actual pod. MicroSol couldn't even handle it. Currently, I'm leaning towards painting them on. The question for me is, do I want to try and get the Cricut to cut the masks out...or do I just want to mask it by hand.

I'd like to see the Cricut in action, but if you can mask that pattern by hand, it would be amazing. Don't know too much about the Cricut, maybe you can create a stencil with it?

The Cricut is basically a cutting machine. Usually for vinyl, chipboard, etc... But I imagine you could dial in the settings to cut masking tape. It'll take some trial and error.
