Someone thinking like me, only that I'm doing a triple since I'm also building the new E-100 Jagdpanzer as well!
Currently fighting the muzzle break on the 35A015 trying to cut the slots but no real success yet...
Also having issues with the track links... Have worked out how to carefully assemble them without any cement, but it's not the best design I've seen...
Good luck and I'm looking forward to see how your build progresses!!! 🙂

I was about to change the projects name to "The triplets" since my JagdPz E-100 is already on its way to me 😉 i will try the tracks just now but thanks for the heads up mate. 👍

Great!!! 😄
Each track link has two connection points and there are two tiny pins they pivot on. These pins break very easily and I broke quite a few before I figured out how to assemble them...
I almost gave up and ordered Friulmodel tracks but decided to make it work and eventually it did.

I'm looking forward to see how you have planned your triplets and see how similar/different it is from mine?
Exciting 🙂

Thanks for the heads up! But luckily I have a slight different approach on AH tracks 😉 I put them together as good as I can, wrap them around the drive train, "shape" them and than glue the links together with liquid cement. Once that's dried I take the tracks off again to paint an weather them. It is quiet easy to popp them on and off (if you wish) since each track remains quiet flexible, even after the cement has fully cured.

Seems to me as if we're having a little group build going on here 😉 👍

It's a shame scalemates haven't got a feature for group builds. I shall send this as a feature request.
But regardless of this, yes it does seem like we've got a little group build here! 🙂 👍

Great progress there Sebastian! 🙂
My "Triplets" project evolved the last week or so into this monster... This is going to take some serious time to build I think?!?

Thanks Jens! I still learn something every time I sit down on my bench. But Amusing Hobby kits make it really easy for you 😉

I saw your "monster" just now....good look with that 👍 🙂 On a side note: I have the E-5 in my stash. It's a very nice kit but if you can get some new tracks. The ones in the kit are somehow sub par to the rest of the kit! For E-series kits I came to really appreciate PPP (paperpanzer.com/). They have some amazing stuff! Something like this for your E-50 maybe?!

I've been trying to avoid paperpanzer.com in order not to be more ruined than I already am...😉
They've got some really nice stuff for sure!

I saw a picture of the "E-5" and the tracks looked really wonky, so thanks for a heads up on those! Perhaps Friulmodel have some? Do you know what tracks they've used on the E-5 or is it unique tracks? I was kinda hoping for the same tracks as something common so I could pick a good set of working tracks. I'n not keen on Magic Tracks etc and I always try to build working tracks. I think it looks better that way - even if I glue them down in then end.
I had to fork up $79 in order to get my hands on the E-5 (in a E-100 bundle) so it turned out expensive, but I needed it so there was no alternative.

I totally understand this kind of "need" 😉 Honestly $79,- is not such a bad price! I paid something like 90,- € for it.

I compared the tracks to those of my Dragon Sd.Kfz. 250 D and it seems as if they're similar. Since my Sd.Kfz.250 came with two sets of Magic Tracks I'll most likely use one of them on the E-5. I am supposed to have a set of Friul tracks lying around somewhere as well. but you know how it is... Let's keep in touch, I'm somehow very keen to build my E-5 soon!

After the E-100s tracks ripped in three places, I need something quick to cheer myself up 🙂
