Once again: a typical Thomas build. 'Pretty good'.

We are funny creatures - those peddles will never be seen again - but we know they are there and that's what counts

WOW! I'd struggle to add this level of detail to a 1/48 kit!

@Matthew: I dropped the idea of opening the side window ..
@all: don't exaggerate! Details are courtesy of Eduard's PE set ... except maybe the door and toilet windows 🙂
Many thanks to you all for your comments - it's my first kit in small scale (if you don't count Revells B747 with the Space Shuttle built in the 70ies) and I must say it's fun! .. hope I get around the warped fuselage top!

???? Warped fuselage top?
29 March 2019, 19:24
Thomas Bischoff
@Dave: unfortunately the top is not plain resulting in the biggest 2.5 mm gap I have ever seen 🙁 - I have added a picture

@Matthew: I checked - you can actually recognise the instrument panel through the windows 🙂
But you can't read the dials 🙁

Aye-yai-yai! Hot water, a gallon of super glue, lots of clamps, and pray!

It might be worth contacting Eduard they may have spare parts.

Never realised how huge Vallejo paint bottles are 🙂
Project is almost there, some touch ups and final details to be added

thanks mates!
@Matthew: I bought a second kit which first served as paint mule and then will go into a future project "HB-HOP" 🙂 It will be however an OOB build ... except for the markings

I call this now finished! Although I may still do some minor final fixes ....
Was fun to build and does not need a lot of space on the shelf, unfortunately I forgot to add something in the final pictures to show the real size .. maybe a pencil or so?

Album info

Copied from Internet - can be googled with Ju 52 EC-AAK:
JU 52 /3m Baujahr 1939 Kennung: OE-LAK "Stoisavljevic" Werknummer: 4076 für die ÖLAG (Österreich) weitere
Kennungen: D-AJAT Deutsche Lufthansa, dann M-CABC für Duero (Spanien) und ab Juli 1939 mit der Kennung: EC-AAK für IBERA (Spanien).
I managed to find a couple of fine pictures for this specific aircraft. One of the pictures really shows two propellers to be blank and on black.
