Starting the build with the cockpit and engine exhaust.
Ammo black primer
Silver dry brush.
The mold is not completely in Line.
Cutting these 2 clips fixes the problem.
Grey cockpit a drop of russian airforce blue to get a slight blue effect.
The Eduard decals are a bit strange but they work for now.
Some detail painting with Revell Aqua Paints.
Dark steel for the inside of the exhaust.
Ammo Mig wash black night.
Really happy with the cockpit. Everything out of the box.
Some Weight hopefully its enough.
The fit is decent.
Gun sight painted.
Canopy masked only with liquid mask. We see how it will go.
Black primer ones again.
White pre-shade.
Vallejo metal color aluminium.
Pretty happy with the Final shade. But i should have adres a gloss coat before the metal color.
Painted the landing Gear and Bay parts Grey with a brush.
The Eduard decals are not very good. Very strange carrier film and the fold and break easely.
The Final airbrush parts.
This side is luckely good. I cut the large decal in multiple pieces.
The wheels are painted in Bright green form ammo Mig.
Vallejo metal color aluminium for these parts.
Rubber is primed black and I gave the left wheel a dry brush with dark Grey.
I tried to fix the damage with some Paint.
Weathering on the rims.
Finish front wheel.
Finished landing parts.
Slight chipping on the panel egdes.
Ammo Mig black night wash for the whole aircraft.
I'm happy with the result.
Painted and weathered the landing Gear bays with a brush.
I masked the black walk ways and gave Them a coat of Matt varnish. I used soms gray oil Paint to get some weathering.
The landing Gear look good but is hard to get them in place

Antenna cable made form streched sprue.
The cable is painted dark Grey.
Finished model. Really happy with the result even after the decal disaster. I wanted to do this quikely and it turned out fine. I like this little kit. The surface detail is good and de fit is ok. The cockpit detail is great for this scale even without aftermatket. The decals are my only problem but the marking options are great.
I really need to make the Sabre again after seeing the difference.
The usa really likes things big.

Pz_MelOttFor the preshading, did you use Vallejo black primer? I'm trying to use solely Vallejo for an upcoming B-58. Looks great.

Vincent@Pz_MelOtt I used ammo one shot black primer for this one. But I used the vallejo black primer many times for preshading so it should work fine. Good luck with the b-58!!!

I Saw this little kit for a good price and Saw some great decal options on the box. I wanted to try liquid mask on the canopy and pre shading on a aluminium finish. I also don't want it to take to long.
