For those of us who don't know, what does that thing on the nose accomplish?

I wrote it in the album description 🙂
The Me 262 V-2 in stage 2 was fitted with fin on its fuselage nose for unknown measurements. It is believed that this was a acoustic test measurement

Also.... it wasn´t the original Me 262 V-2.. it was a later Me 262 A-1a which was renamed to V-2

Album info
The Me 262 V-2 in stage 2 was fitted with fin on its fuselage nose for unknown measurements. It is believed that this was a acoustic test measurement.
The fin material is believed to be opaque and the resinpart is the same colour, so the modeler can glue it unpainted on the Me 262 fuselage. The colour of the Me 262 V-2 is believed to be Braunviolett, black over all or dark grey with a big white V-2 on both side of its nose and silver engine intakes.
