Testfit of the Testfin......Airmodel VA-7002 Me 262 clear vac canopy preassembled as well.
Airmodel VA-7002 Me 262 clear vac canopy before assembly on REVELL Me 262 Fuselage
Airmodel VA-7002 Me 262 clear vac canopy glued in. Transition between fuselage and vac canopy checked using edding marker. This makes imperfections visible fast..... transsition can be smoothend easily using sanding sticks.
All Transitions smooth... canopy installed and ready for RLM66 interrior grey

Matthias SimonAlso.... it wasn´t the original Me 262 V-2.. it was a later Me 262 A-1a which was renamed to V-2

The Me 262 V-2 in stage 2 was fitted with fin on its fuselage nose for unknown measurements. It is believed that this was a acoustic test measurement.
The fin material is believed to be opaque and the resinpart is the same colour, so the modeler can glue it unpainted on the Me 262 fuselage. The colour of the Me 262 V-2 is believed to be Braunviolett, black over all or dark grey with a big white V-2 on both side of its nose and silver engine intakes.
