Land Rover WMIK with Milan ATGM.

Album image #1
First parts being prepared.

Album image #2
Chassis in progress, and the engine coming together. Bodywork started too, enough to allow painting to start.

Album image #3
Everything fitting nicely, with lots of fine details.

Album image #4
The radiator will cover the fan, so last view...

Album image #5
Painting of the items added to the chassis to be progressed next.

Album image #6
Progressing the front wings and seats, etc.

Album image #7
Checking how it all fits, and some pre-shading on the wings.

Album image #8
Lots of small parts painted, mostly for the dash board

Album image #9
Having had problems with the decal for the gauges, I had to settle for some tiny white marks. Hope it looks okay?

Album image #10
More progress...

Album image #11
Mocking up the roll cage and weapons mounting.

Album image #12
Coming together, but more painting first....

Album image #13
Bodywork and framing painted, and other general progress. GPMG and it's mount to be done next.

Album image #14
PE grill added.

Album image #15
Wires added, for fuel lines.

Album image #16
Large pipe added, perhaps for an air intake? It will be completely hidden once the wing has been installed, but we all know how important these hidden details are 😉

Album image #17
Rocket launcher complete, with front lens added.

Album image #18
Album image #19
Mounting post for GPMG added, and MG painted too.

Album image #20
Driver's seat added, with it's frame. Strangely, I can't find where the second frame has disappeared too! Passenger seat therefore not glued in for the moment... Side panel added, but wing mirrors still to be done.

Album image #21
Tools painted (I do like a realistic, well-used shovel...). A scratch-built fire extinguisher being made and painted, to be mounted between the front seats, on the bulkhead where the tyre lever and jack handle are moulded (also painted, but partly hidden by the seats).

Album image #22
So, still to be done: add all the light lens, front and rear; add frame and install the three last braces: install the wing mirrors; mount the front wings and paint the radiator grill; install the sand channel with PE straps; bend, paint and install PE headlight guards. Oh, and make up 12 ammo boxes, paint and store in rear bin, and install the rear bin. Oh, and find that missing seat frame! Grrr!

Album image #23
Some spare PE used to make a bracket, fixed to the bulkhead.

Album image #24
Fire extinguisher finished, including pressure gauge with tiny needle from an eye lash 😉

Album image #25
Extinguisher fitted in the bracket.

Album image #26
Lots of ammunition boxed still to be assembled, ang wing mirrors to be added (last of all).

Album image #27
GPMG details painted, and the frames installed finally.

Album image #28
Front wings added too, and bonnet just loose fitted. Everything fits really well on this kit 🙂 A few untidy paint splashes to be removed.....

Album image #29
Starting to look like the end is in sight.

Album image #30
Rear storage bin will be added after the clear parts for lights have been fitted.

Album image #31
Front lights still to be added too, and radiator to be painted too.

Album image #32
The rear surfaces of the clear parts were painted, then installed with white glue. First coats on the grill, etc.

Album image #33
Rear lights and storage bin added, with a little assistance 😉

Album image #34
They're impatient to get going, even though the wing mirrors have still to be installed!

Album image #35
One mistake I should have avoided...there is too little room for a driver to be seated. I should have left the steering wheel as a loose fit. Ach jo....

Album image #36
Team photo, everyone!

Album image #37
Album image #38
Milan munition's box painted up, with details picked out. Rifles also now painted.

Album image #39
Ready to load up, but some tea would be welcome first 😉

Album image #40
Mirrors added, kit loaded, and reflectors painted on each side of the rear basket.

Welcome, Rui - more progress last weekend, so I'll take photos of the roll-cage and main weaponts system soon. The dash-board is also complete.... disaster with the decal for the dials (it fell apart), so I resorted to tiny touches of white for markings on each dial. Other decals were fine, though.

Hi David. This one is generally straight out of the box, but I'm adding the fuel injection pipes to the engine. I'm going to try to make a fire extinguisher too, so let's see how it goes....

More progress, so only the final painting of the front grill, adding the PE grills on the headlights, and the wing mirrors of course. I may omit adding the sand channel, etc.

Lots of progress today, so the To Do List is much shorter. Still the most delicate of the PE to do.....headlight grills.
