C-130J Commando II
This wasn't an easy build. The kit is okay, not great. I had some fit issues with the cockpit glass and the wings. It is being built for display at the airport. The main issues I had were there are no decals that I could find for the modern USAF C-130Js which would have the stenciling in light grey. I had a generous associate create masks for the USAF roundels. I ended up masking the lines for walkways, etc. I used some of the kit decals even though they are black instead of grey to create some interest on the fuselage.

ScottThis has a temporary base. It will have a display base when it moves to its permanent home.

ScottYes. The decals were a major hurdle but they are sorted. Many Many Many thanks to James for the USAF roundel masks!!!
