Final colour: RailMatch Acrylic #2255 EWS Maroon.
Although all FKAs are owned by DB Cargo UK, they all carry the house colours of the previous owner: English, Welsh & Scottish (EWS). The livery is overall 'EWS Maroon' with EWS lettering in gold and all data labels in 'white'. I don't have an ALPS or Ghost Toner printer to print white. I do have white decal paper, so I need to match my printed maroon with the paint.
Doh! Setting the text colour to 'white' and backgrond colour to 'maroon' doesn't do the job. On the left normal 'black' text on a normal 'white' background, produces legible text down to font size '2'. However, text colour 'white' and backgrond colour 'maroon' isn't even legible at font size '3'.
