Wow,you have been busy.fantastic photos looking under the trees adds atmosphere to the diorama.how did you do the snow.You must be pleased how it turned out.

Thanks Gary, I'm very happy indeed! I underestimated the imitation of the snow by a long shot, it was really a journey from christmas snowspray to a mix of quality products to get the result I wanted. Three products I can recommend: snow powder of green stuff world, this has a very nice texture and some shiney pieces in it, snow microballoons from AK, very nice on vehicles and accesoires and Vallejo water texture foam effect to stack up the hight of the snow and cover them with the microballoons as you can see on the trees. I started this one in januari, so I'm very happy to have finished it up with this result. Happy to see you enjoy it! Cheers!

Gritty realism... If the enemy doesn't kill you, the cold will... A very unusual presentation with the thick smoke and flames, in an almost monochrome world of Life and Death.... Superbly well executed work, Mathias.

Thank you Mr James, all these kind words are very appreciated and a motivation to move on to the next project. The smoke was a gamble, but I think I've won. Every project I try something new. Here the smoke was the "innovation". I was very nervous about it, but I am also very happy how it turned out.
