B1 bis "Bourrasque"

This is a replica of the B1 bis tank n°257 nicknamed "Bourrasque" of the 2nd Reserve Armored Division (15th Battle Tank Battalion) that fought in the Battle of Montcornet in May 1940. It is one of the most well-known French tanks of that time as it wreaked havoc on a German column after coming to the rescue of another tank crew. The Germans were so impressed with the level of destruction caused by this single tank that they decided to film the capture of its crew, all bruised and bloodied by the multiple impacts caused by the 37mm and 75mm guns used by the Germans.
