I was hunting for this MPM kit for a long time. Many times I had to give up because the price on ebay was simply too harsh. I ended up buying it at a pretty high price though. This was all long before the rumors of a new kit began to appear.
For a while it stood on the shelf as a sign of a successful hunt. But then I heard, that my good friend, a master model builder, has been looking for the same kit for a long time and I promised him to find it on ebay at a reasonable price. I tried and offered again many times and each time the price was much higher than we would have agreed to pay. However, it so happened that my friend died suddenly of an illness before my hunt for this MPM was successfully completed. After that I decided to build my own model in memory of my friend who never got it.
