I originally used Mr. Hobby Aqueous Dark Earth and Dark Green. The colors didn't look right so I painted over them.

altered the colors a bit and painted on the main markings

You will spend 50% of your time in the cockpit.

One thing I didn't like about the kit was the plastic molded harness. HGW fabric harness to the rescue. I had a one in the stash, but since this kit was released HGW has released a new set specifically for this kit.

Very impressive paint job. What's your technique? Black base coat and mottling the camouflage?

it's not black basing, I used a darker shade of the faded coat. But the same idea.
This is far from done, and I need to restore the hard-edge of the camo pattern also.
