Saying so for myself: "Not bad for my first two airbrush paint layers." 🙂

Plenty of details to correct, but the purpose is mojo restoration and airbrush practice.

Ready for decals and weathering. The scheme is a heavily weathered sample, not a specific aircraft.

Third attempt wasn't so pleasing. Too much pressure and too thin a mix. I might keep the result because it looks distressed and (over) weathered. I may replace the decals on the Shoki before a top coat. I'm not using markings specific to a real example. There may be some useful spares after the Hayabusa kit is built.

I still like the effect enough for this "mojo" project purposes.-

Looking good! Which colours did you use?

@Maciej Bellos Tamiya XF-13 JA Green for the Hayate, XF-27 Black green on the Hayabusa and an 80/20+/- mix of the XF-13 JA Green and XF-14 JA Grey on the Shoki. Two undersides are XF-14 JA Grey while the Shoki stayed with a hardware store silver rattle can finish. Thinning with official X-20 thinner for these first few practical applications.
