Hi Robin and Michael, nice that you are here🙂
Micheal: This is the workshop in my parents' house.
I use these for the very "dirty" work.
Everything else has to be done in my apartment.

Simon, it feels you are stepping into the master level as a modeller, and, your table is always clean and neat👍

Thx you Chan!
This project is more an attempt.
I scrapped some old 1/35 models but i like the T-34 turrets, so i thought i will reuse this one.
Trying out some new stuff- you know😉
Sometimes the table has to be clean, because it's my kitchen table😅

Great little scene Simon. You've bossed water effects, wild grass, wreckage and composition beautifully. I spotted a curiosity on the Dragon boxart. According to this illustration, T34/76 mantlets had a two part mantlet front plate! I speculate it's an unfilled seam from a poorly assembled model copied by the painter??

Simon Nagorsnik
You're right Neil, I haven't noticed that yet 😅
The T-34 I know, it was always a one-piece front panel.
Maybe it that was "artistic interpretation " 😁
By the way: thanks for your praising words Neil and thank you Bruce too!

Thanks Robin and Bruce!
It was a nice change to work in '35 again.
Robin: To the bird- i was thinking about a small gimmick for the scene to make it a bit more interestig.
Otherwise the figure wouldn't have much sense, i think.
I've create this base only to recycle turret and the figure😁

Album info

A "recycling project" of mine.

Since I switched to my new main scale 1/72nd, I don't work any longer in 1/35th scale.
However, there is still material left for residual recycling.

The T-34 turret belongs to a Dragon kit (6584), which I built over ten years ago and which has now been scrapped.
But I like these turrets and therefore wanted to continue using it.
The officer is offered by Airborne Miniature (3526) and has also been lying around with me for some time, because I bought it "as a precaution" at the time;).

When I started this project, the idea was rather vague and didn't know exactly how it would turn out in the end.
It should also serve to gain experience with "resin water", since I have had very little to do with it so far.

But I have to say that it could have been worse, I'm happy with it so far😄.
