Very nicely done. I must say: "I have not finished a model in a while" and "model 16 for 2022" just does not compute 😄

Thank you! Alec K I try to work 1-2 hrs every other evening and on the weekend I have 3hr build session with a group of friends via Facebook video chat. It really helps doing it online with some buddies, everyone is in their workshop and chatting at the same time.

Your hours are clearly much more productive than mine 👍. Working via Facebook is a cool idea.

No reason not to organize a chat group of a number of people here! 🙂

Thank you Simon! It is not without mistakes but it is done and I'm off to the next one!
Album info
Focke-Wulf Fw-190D-9 by Tamiya in 1/72 scale. This model had the following modifications: photo etch seatbelts, scratch built gun sight, brass tube wing root cannons, drilled out propeller hub cannon and an antenna. I used Eagle Editions decals to depict JG2 "Dora" as it appeared at the end of World War 2. Everything, including the JG2 yellow/white/yellow band was airbrushed with Vallejo acrylics. The topside is a combination of RLM76/83 with some subtle mottling and RLM75 on the rear fuselage and horizontal stabilizers. The underside is a combination or RLM76/66 and two shades of natural metal. I used AK wash, pencils and pigments for weathering. I haven't finished an aircraft model in a while, so I'm glad this one is complete. Model 16 for 2022!
