Plugging along. Next time I build this kit I will be doing it very different!!

Album image #8
Relieved that the bottom rollers are done - looks like a 'glue bomb' in the damn photo!! ROFL!

Album image #9
Took long than expected to mask off & get ready for the paint booth.

Album image #10

Got some primer on the lower suspension parts.

Album image #18
Starting to get the springs on the lower suspension!!

Album image #19
Suspension nearly done!

Album image #20
I'm leaving the 'fenders' off until I get the tracks on just in case I have any problems.

Album image #21
Finally finished putting the tracks together. Not used to assembling tracks that have three pieces each so I did manage to screw up a few times. Now I know why those pre-assembled metal tracks on EBay are so popular!

Album image #22
Since a couple of track links ran afoul of errant glue only one side will actually be 'workable'. That is OK though, since I wasn't planning on playing with this tank with my grandson anyway! ;-D

Album image #23
Finally got some primer on some main hull parts.

Album image #24
Whoot! Main hull has some primer on it!!

Album image #25
The end may be in sight!

Album image #26
Just have to paint the tracks and weather them some, then install. The lower suspension can then be finally assembled!

Album image #27
First coat of regular (Vallejo) paint on!

Album image #28
Finally got some real paint on the hull!

Album image #29
They put up a hell of a fight, but I finally managed to tame the damn tracks!! Still have some paint touch ups to do.

Album image #30
Tracks finished - top view.

Hi Calvin,
When you get there, could you take a few good pictures explaining the use of the camo masks? Got some from that brand for my FT-17 and have some difficulties understanding the instructions... Or lack thereof.
Thanks
