Assembly
I didn't photograph the assembly process so follow the photos of the finished assembly and the parts ready to start the painting process.

Primer
In this project I will try to use only Vallejo products.
The primer applied was the Surface Tan Primer (73.613) Desert Tan. As you may already know, the adherence of acrylic paints directly to plastic is horrible. The finish also improves a lot.
I could have used the dark (black) primer, but mine is over and the new order has not arrived, and the first color will already be used for pre-shading.
I was very pleased with the result and had no problem applying the primer. I applied straight from the pot without adding the Airbrush Thinner (71.361), in fact, I fired about 3 drops before putting the paint to "clean" and lubricate the airbrush.

First layer
Staff follows the result of applying the first layer with Vallejo Model Air 71029 Dark Earth. The goal was to apply the paint in several layers to get a background shadow, a kind of pre-shading, but in every model.
I used the ink straight from the pot also without prior dilution and compressor at 30 psi.
Although acrylic paint can be applied one layer after another after about 30 minutes of drying, I am leaving between one painting step and another about 24 hours.

Second layer
Let's go to the result of applying the second coat of paint.
Here I aired over the first layer (Vallejo 71.029) the Vallejo 71.140 US Desert Sand, in the center of the plates and around the details and profiles, tried my best to completely cover the shadow created by the first layer. In some points it worked, in others it does not disappear. I have to train more.
This color (71,140) is more "pulled" to pink when applied directly to primer 73,613 (Desert Tan).
