Album info

Epic attack helicopter, and most endearingly is the wonkiness. Apparently, the first prototypes had a tendency to slip/translate sideways when hovering, so the designers tilted the main rotor 2.5° to the right from the fuselage to compensate. Then, to so that the rotor would be level when the aircraft was on the ground, the landing gear was tilted to the left in the other direction. So definitely wonky, and not my building for a change :-D
