![Album image #1 Album image #1](/albums/img/6/7/1/1678671-64707-66-720.jpg)
.....a floatplane used for rescues....this had to be built....
![Album image #2 Album image #2](/albums/img/6/7/2/1678672-64707-73-720.jpg)
....a resin kit from Lukgraph...not too complex....
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/6/7/3/1678673-64707-40-720.jpg)
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/6/7/5/1678675-64707-66-720.jpg)
...the rigging will get a good study before proceeding...it could be wires or EZLIne or paint brush bristles...or all three...planning will take some advance work...
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/6/7/4/1678674-64707-24-720.jpg)
.....ummmmm...yes...it is a "high quality resin kit"...but i have seen better detail...especially in 1/32 scale.....
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/5/1/2/1679512-64707-27-720.jpg)
....the 3D printed engine is great....adding "pushrods" here....
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/8/1/1/1683811-64707-39-720.jpg)
....authentic and accurate?...maybe not...but, it is a fun engine project...with brass pushrods because they look good...
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/8/1/0/1683810-64707-46-720.jpg)
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/5/0/5/1694505-64707-38-720.jpg)
....first time trying these cool instrument panel bezel PE pieces....these are from HGW...with Eduard markings....
...the instrument decal goes behind the main PE panel from the kit...
...the instrument decal goes behind the main PE panel from the kit...
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/5/0/6/1694506-64707-76-720.jpg)
....very happy for a first time result with the instrument panel....the kit seat is plain, so in goes the cool Gaspatch wicker seat piece with detachable cushion (now there is an upgrade...detachable cushions).....
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/0/5/3/1695053-64707-56-720.jpg)
.....the cage needed to be thinned a good bit and the fuselage sides thinned as well.....but, it fits.....in the Its a model not a replica dept....the big gash on the bottom of this somewhat rough resin kit will likely not be filled and sanded but covered over with thin sytrene...it is the bottom after all....Mr Dyslexia showed up and fuel tank was installed backwards after the whole front was put in the wrong way....amazing i can even put on socks.....
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/5/4/1/1695541-64707-76-720.jpg)
...the cage is complete except for some retouching....EZline used for the "bracing"
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/7/9/6/1700796-64707-88-720.jpg)
...Eduard seatbelts with nice detail and color...designed for the WNW Sopwith Camel kit...so, about right and a big improvement..
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/7/9/5/1700795-64707-73-720.jpg)
....so, THIS is how it is supposed to look?......
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/6/9/6/1701696-64707-76-720.jpg)
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/9/3/2/1710932-64707-56-720.jpg)
....there has been progress...happy with the painted rudder....
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/1/2/8/1720128-64707-25-720.jpg)
....the struts for the Sopwith Baby got mixed up in the install hardware for kitchen hooks and came tumbling out....oh, sure...that was expected....

it is comforting to know a modeler has done a far better job with this kit than i could ever do...so, the pressure is off...enjoy this ...

Looks great. Sometimes it is a sin to have to cover up such great details.

Lots of tiny details. This little Baby promises to turn out a head turner.

not a big fan of this kit...especially for the money it costs....funky moldings, backwards instructions...blah seat with no detail....it will be finished but not with great affection....

Between the Sopwith Baby and the Vega it looks like you have your hands full. Looking forward to watching you finish both.

...this Sopwith has been a challenge....and hopefully, the folks at Lukgraph took notice....the Vega is more of a history challenge because the more u see the more the kits struts make some historical sense...the kit is an amalgam of various stage and varieties of Vegas...and there are many.......thank you, as always...

...when the struts arrive, assuming they do, it will get a notice here...until then...other projects beckon....

....only one plane in the jig at a time and this will definitely be a jig job....the tail is assembled but I don't really like the rigging method.....this is a good livery of this airplane....so, some time will be taken....

Time for a challenge...the workbench was cleared for this kit and it will be a while finishing.....the version will be of airplanes sent to Norway for a rescue mission in the 1920s...no weapons on this one....
