HMS Hood

My HOOD set out on her first voyage in late winter 2024. 

In the subsequent construction, I carved and hollowed out the viewports on the armored conning tower instead of painting them black, in order to achieve a better visual effect. However, how to neatly hollow them out was a challenge for me. Fortunately, in the end, the effect was good and all the effort was worthwhile.You can see this change in the first four photos. 

This is where I think Eduard 53197 excels. Similar to the product of Pontos, it modifies the observation tower and the windows on the top of the bridge of warships. The performance of the PE parts is far superior to directly hollowing out thick sprues. Considering reliability and durability (since RC ships may be exposed to sun and water), I did not install large PE patches to modify the whole bridge.
